William King Tweedie, DD
(1803 - 1863) Church Reformer. Son of John Tweedie the Botanist. Minister of the Tolbooth Kirk in Edinburgh and a leader of the disruption in 1843 when the Free Church broke away from the Established Church in Scotland. Buried in Edinburgh.
