The Alterstone, Peeblesshire
The Alterstone where Merlin was converted from his Druid belief to Christianity in the year 603 AD by St. Kentigen. Shortly after this, Merlin was stoned to death by the locals, as he had foretold, at the junction of the River Tweed and Powsail Burn next to Drummelzier church.
